Analysis of Survey Data on Experiences of Autism and Attention Deficit & Hyperactivity Disorder.

Project summary

Carry out an initial review and validation of 2023 NFWI (National Federation of Women's Institutes) survey data concerning members’ experiences with and of autism and ADHD. Then, report back any conclusions and recommendations for any necessary subsequent work.

How will this project benefit the organisation?  

The motivation behind the project is to better understand NFWI members’ experiences with autism and ADHD to better inform organisational leadership. This will improve decision making regarding widening inclusivity and improving accessibility and quality of experience for members coping with these conditions. The outcome of the project is also intended to inform the NFWI’s communications strategy on issues relating to autism and ADHD.

Robust and meaningful survey work in this arena will better inform organisational decision making with regard to educational campaigns and the provision of advice and guidance to local WI groups.

Project description

The NFWI’s 2023 autism and ADHD survey data is available in a variety of forms, including PDF files and spreadsheets. This data contains both quantitative and qualitative elements. The project will require initial review and analysis of the available data and the distillation of meaningful information. Identifying ways to improve any subsequent surveys to be carried out will also be helpful.

Good survey data analysis and presentational skills will be required, together with experience of survey design.

Location

This project would be suited to remote working but the ability to meet in person with the client may be desirable, but not essential, after the initial analysis of the current survey data.
